An Evening of Aerin Opulence

September 25, 2017

Aerin Lauder warmly welcomed the launch of a new book created by D. Porthault, The Art of Luxury Linen, and what an opulent evening it was!  The bright Aerin showroom kindly greeted us with an exclusive inside look on this fabulous coffee table book, featuring beautifully photographed D. Porthault linens captivated in designs around the world.

D.Porthault is a French luxury linens store which has been around nearly 100 years, expanding past just linens including towels and bedding, but now growing to sleepwear products and even children’s clothes. Throughout the pages of this book, you can find their unique prints/ embroideries stunningly featured in cultural interiors inspired by the best combination: art & nature.  The beautiful, effortlessly chic fabrics are captured throughout the book in all their glory. They are showcased in numerous settings such as outdoor living, bedrooms, bathrooms, and nursery/children’s rooms, and table linens.  We enjoyed flipping through the book and seeing D.Porthault’s products come to life with the creativity of various interior designers around the world.

The Aerin showroom, overlooking Madison Ave, elegantly displays a few products from their famous lighting collection. Through the rooms were etageres effortlessly stylized in Aerin Home décor items- shagreen picture frames, muted vases, textured trays and boxes with D. Porthault printed pillows and candle details.

As much as we love home accessories, the Aerin’s beauty line is not to be overlooked! DNLUD got to smell test the delicious scents through a display of candles in the showroom and to our surprise we were generously gifted a set of fragrances including the same scents! Aerin really thinks about her brand and how to create that seamless transition between her beauty and home lines!

Our favorites-  Buckhorn Amber and Corviglia Spice.

Thank you Aerin & D.Porthault for this unforgettable experience!

We look forward to your next collaborations.
